BODY DYSMORPHIA AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

PROBLEM
Body Dysmorphia is very common amongst adults, and is rarely discussed. It is a very treatable disorder, but there is often a lack of information on the topic.
SOLUTION
Create a multi-media campaign that showcases body dysmorphia resources as well as a sense of community for those experiencing BDD.
SCOPE
I made a poster as well as an art installation in the Miami Art and Architecture Library.

THE INSTALLATION
This installation was exhibited at the Miami University Art and Architecture Library alongside my poster. It features 50 one-inch mirrors, distorted and separated to reflect a skewed image, symbolizing the perspective of someone with BDD. Teal heart stickers, the awareness color for BDD, represent self-love and care.
